My least favourite city

This post is not intended to offend anyone. It's just to express myself. So, here we go. My least favourite European city was Milan, Italy. I remember when I was planning my OE that three people discouraged me from going there because they thought it wasn't anything special. Thus I'm not entirely sure if my dislike for the place has anything to do with my friends' comments or that fact that I was harrassed by a homicidal pigeon during my visit.

Me and boyfriend only stayed there for one night because we were travelling from Rome, Italy to Nice, France and it is a very long trip to do via rail, in fact you can't do it in one day. So, we stopped over in Milan. I found Milan to be quite dull, dirty and full of hawkers. I do not like to be harrassed by people trying extort money from me for accepting their "friendship" bracelets when I'm trying enjoy the city. Not that it actually happened, but they tried. Not ideal for a holiday spot. However there were some nice shops (e.g. Prada, Hello Kitty, Chanel, Gucci, Armani etc.), we stayed at relatively good hotel (for Europe) and people watching was like watching a fashion show.
